Exposed fastener panels are the most economical option and are typically installed over solid decking or existing shingle (overlay) and are attached with fasteners that penetrate through the metal panel into the structure below. We order our fasteners in the same color as your panel to make them less apparent. The mountain rib panel is typically in a 26 or 29 gauge metal.
Concealed Fastening panels are joined together by integral locking seams and are fastened to the deck with fasteners and/or clips that are hidden underneath the roofing panels. Typically referred to as Snaplock roofing. The Snaplock panel is typically made with 26 and 24 gauge metal for durability and longevity of your roof.

Metal roof options can cost more than a traditional asphalt shingle roof.... depending on your install. The investment return can make it all worthwhile though! Metal roofs can last 50+ years with very little maintenance.
Most people believe metal roofing is more environmentally friendly. With the comparison on being able to recycle our metal, we have to agree! There is no way to re-use asphalt shingles other than to toss them in the landfill. Metal panel options can be recycled and re-used in numerous ways!
There is no better durability for your roof than a metal roof option! Metal roofs can withstand most weather if properly installed. Hail, high winds and extreme temperatures are no match for a metal roof.
